The Role

We are looking for a super-hunter, Business Development Agent to join our brilliant client in Manchester. If you're keen to build and retain solid, long-lasting relationships, be an expert in your field and enjoy collaboration our client wants to hear your ideas.


As a Business Development Agent in the commercial arm of the business, you will work closely with the wider sales team, to find and close new business opportunities for a variety of connectivity solutions.

You will be given access to the business's entire product portfolio, and you will work strategically to uncover new opportunities. If you're hungry to succeed, our client will provide you with all the tools you need to achieve your goals. You enjoy thinking of new models and ways of approaching challenges in an ever-changing environment.

This role will suit an enthusiastic and patient, hungry, easy going, confident and consultative sales professional. If you have proven experience of exceeding, sales targets, the ability to communicate at all levels, a self-starter with fire in your belly, we would love to hear from you.



Some of what you'll be doing…


● Working towards clear sales targets each month.
● Unearth and close opportunities across multiple verticals.
● Work closely with the Engagement teams to ensure your processes and KPIs are completely aligned and opportunities are maximised.
● Outbound selling on our clients network, ensuring your team surpasses a predefined
profitability per km of fibre target.
● Inbound enquiries from all non-existing customers in your region.
● Maximise profitability by bundling ancillary products (managed services) such as WiFi, LAN,
Security solutions and VoIP onto connectivity deals.



What you'll need to have…


● Get-up and get-em attitude, nothing phases you!
● IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft or Google suite of packages.
● You're strategic and always looking for ways to improve.
● You're organised and able to manage multiple opportunities at once.
● You may be required to travel for this role so a full driving licence is required.
